Powerboating

From the level 1 - Introduction to Powerboating which is ideal for younger boaters, to the level 2 - National Powerboating Certificate which is accepted all around the world as the entry level qualification and foundation for commercial work


These courses cover everything you need to get started with a RIB or other small planing craft in good weather and daylight


All materials, equipment and certification are included and trainnig is mostly on the water, based at Royal William Yard Marina in the heart of Plymouth and a short hop from Cremyll

SRC Radio

A legal requirement for anyone operating a marine radio in routine use, the course covers two way communications as well as emergency beacons in great detail and concludes with a written exam as well as practical assessment


We are happy to assess you if you have completed your training elsewhere, or can enrole you in an online course before if you have not already done the course


Access to the RYA Interactive learning, plus an in-person assessment as a bundle is £160 all inclusive

First Aid at Sea

Essential training for commercial skippers, race crews and instructors


The course covers all of the usual 1-day first aid at work topics, plus defibrilators, pocket masks, CPR in confined spaces, ships medical supplies, helicopter rescue and medical asssiatnce by radio


Delivered by an experienced boaters with remote medicine speciality, from a background in 999 ambulance and maritime rescue as well as extensive teaching experience
