14 Bedroom hotel in a challenging location with great potential, but which had been on the market for 10 years with no interested parties. Our job was to re-invent the business, giving it kerb appeal and uplifting the online reviews. Creating a vibrant and friendly business that would attract buyers as well as customers.

It took six months for us to refurbish the property and put it back on the map, by which time it was sold. Just like that.

The work involved was in the category of "easy when you know how"...

We moved the stale old bar counter which felt like a burger bar servery hatch, created a colourful craft style back bar with all new lighting and a professional fridge installation with side shelving for merchandising. Lots of upcycling and repurposing went on, to give the place character and warmth.

The bar area itself was given soft lighting, almost like gas lamps with a warm glow rather than harsh spotlights. Redecorated with tones of aqua and wall hangings in contemporary metal-crafts with complimentary colours.

Finished off with lounge furniture, rather than heavy angular tables and uncomfortable chairs. Together with a great range of wines, real ales, boutinque ciders and a large selection of gin and rum amoung the typical spirits.

The bedrooms were declutered and given useable furniture that travelers need, fresh paint and crisp white bedding.

Current project #2
20 Bedroom hotel, with bar/restaurant in a strong central location. Closed and derelict, needing a rewire, replumb and major decorative overhaul. Having been mothballed for 20 years, the property was in a terrible condition and in need of drying out and airing before anything else could happen.

Our job was to do the enabling work - tearing out the old and making a clear path for the trades. Then, as the structural work drew to a close we were to relaunch the hotel with a new branding and new style never seen before in the area.
